Article about this. Funnyordie was launched by Ferrell and McKay.

Very funny short. However, I wonder if the website will survive. I have a feeling that unless Ferrel and other real comedians put up funny stuff the site will just languish around.

That and I don't know if they know how to solve bandwidth problems. Glitchy video or waiting for videos to buffer kills things pretty quick.

The problem with youtube (and pretty much every video site so far) is finding stuff. The top rated/most favorited/most whatever links youtube has is always a collection of mindless garbage. They need a better way of finding stuff. Or maybe they already do but I refuse to log in so I don't see it.

Youtube and Dailymotion are still very good places to find certain things. I go to them to watch soccer highlights/summaries of important games as well as tv shows (mostly on dailymotion), anime (on both), music videos (youtube), guitar stuff, etc.

I agree, if I know what I'm looking for or if I'm looking for something specific, youtube is the first and only place I go.

I meant as a replacement for "channel surfing" it sucks. You can't say "show me something funny/new". Sometimes the "trails of videos" brings you to something interesting...but that's too much work the times you just want to turn off your brain.
