I watched a show on them a couple weeks ago. I know this isn't going to actually happen, but there's literally nothing you can do to affect them in a negative way, but they actually seem to get joy out of being harassed. If there was any way everyone could just ignore them that would be honestly the best thing to do.

The situation is really really sad, out of all the people that come to picket these days, maybe 10% made some sort of conscious decision to join the "church" and the rest have been brainwashed since they were born and are just completely insane. You can't help but feel bad for them, honestly, and a large part of their mantra is that "everyone hates us because we spread the word of God." The kids grow up getting pelted with stuff, screamed and yelled at, and threatened with violence constantly, just for doing what they think is the right thing to do. It only makes sense that once they grow up they hate everybody just as their parents and grandparents did. Yet another reason ignoring them is the right thing to do.

If you can find the documentary out there somewhere it's pretty interesting, it's called "The Most Hated Family In America" and features some BBC guy that's apparently famous in England but I'd never heard of until I saw it.
