That's the cue for Nickname to step up and admit he was one of those idiots.

One off the things I like about Canada is the refills. On a hot day, ordering an ice cold 0.5 litre coke and then getting a free refill, frikken awesome.Maybe God was the first suicide bomber and the Big Bang was his moment of Glory.

Hey Nailed!
I study in Hamilton so I dont appreciate all the hatred towards our steel city :P I live in Mississauga; which is like literally right next to Oakville.
I'm glad people are starting to realize the value of each of our amenities that so many of us take for granted. The solid infrastructure of Canada impressed me the most when I just moved here.
Now that that rants over, I'm glad that you had a good time here. A lot of people complain that its boring, but really.. what the hell else can u expect from a place. We do sports, have good bars, and everything about this country is nice. Except its army.

i'm glad you all like canada too! the people i know there were complaining that it isn't very good or that it's boring and i was getting mad at them for saying that, and how lucky they are to live there.
you had a problem with the buses? i found them pretty convenient. they were always on time when i caught them and they were cheap. i liked how you could do transfers from the train station too (in england they'd make you pay again. actually i just got home from a friend's and he only lives about 15 min drive from me, cost me £6 for a return ticket. which is what, $14?). can't complain at $2.75!
I can't complain about the prices, I spend $21.50 a month for a Mississauga Student Pass and that gets me all over Mississauga as well getting me into Oakville, Toronto, Brampton ect. It's also a tax write off, if you save your monthly bus passes. When I go to Toronto I usually take the GO which is roughly $10 to get there and back if I have the time I take a bus to Islington (subway in the outskirts of Toronto) and then pay 2.75 to hop on the subway. I'm attending school in Oakville next year and the good thing that Oakville has done it make it efficent to travel from Mississauga to Oakville, I can also use a Mississauga bus pass to get to Oakville which will save me hundreds of dollars.
If Mississauga could of and should have done something twenty years ago it would have been to connect the subway with Toronto. I doubt that in Mississauga's creation very much thought went into the possibility that Mississauga would one day benefit from a subway system connected to Toronto. For the most part I think that Mississauga Transit has done the best it can under the circumstances.Last edited by Cops; 06-05-2007, 10:21 PM.it makes me sick when i think of it, all my heroes could not live with it so i hope you rest in peace cause with us you never did

Waterloo isn't that bad these days with their public transit. The biggest perk for university students is that we only have to pay $40 a term, and we can use our student cards as bus passes.
Waterloo was also named worlds smartest city recently too by http://www.intelligentcommunity.org/
And free refills sure do kick ass.duel pasta <ER>> i can lick my asshole
