Secondly why did you fly into Hamilton International? and not Toronto....

It seems like you covered almost every thing to do in the area, although taking a tour of a winery might have been worth the hours time. And cost is tiny.

my local airport (Exeter) recently started doing a really cheap flight to Toronto, but to Hamilton instead of Pearson. it's a shame, i've heard Pearson's much nicer.

the one thing i wanted to that i didn't was go to the bier markt. oh, and see that $30m house in oakville.

It's cheap to fly in and out of Hamilton connecting to Europe right now. I'm living in Oakville over the summer right now at Sheridan, the place Cops was talking about was a newly developed area so transit was limited. Still Oakville sucks for transit, if you live in this city you MUST have a car. Mississauga and Toronto are pretty good. It seems more West you go from Toronto the worse the transit situation gets. The Mayor of Mississauga decided some time ago that connecting the subway to Toronto would cause social problems but really it has caused a bottleneck because everyone wants to live outside the city but work downtown, GO Transit does a decent job but still it isn't perfect.

As far as I know, it goes 3rd line, 4th line (aka Noghtinhill Gate) 5th Line (aka, Neyagawa or however you spell it) 6th line, 7th line (Trafalgar) 8th line, 9th line.

seems to be in order to me. Possibly Bronte is considered 2nd line, if s 1st line would have to be Burloak.

True enough, it just seems confusing and stupid to throw a 5th line in the middle of Mississauga, especially when its so close to Oakville. I think the border is Winston Churchill.
