As for my thoughts on it, I believe that to have it as a constant rate would be impossible, as there would need to be a beginning somehow. But then I being to think about our planets.... They go around and around at a constant rate (as far as I know) and the main reason is because of gravity.

For accelerated rate, I think it would be astonishing to figure out a way to do this, considering that we would eventually enter new speed dimensions. If there's not a "fastest" speed, then what is there? I mean if you're in outer space with NO gravity.. how FAST can you really go? Lets start at a slow speed, then build yourself up, going faster and faster and eventually ur at the speed of sound.. then that doubles, and ur going faster than the speed of light, then that doubles, now you're going even faster than that... and the acceleration just NON-STOP!.. Do you think there is a limit to speed? .. And how the hell would you stop?
