Tried some baileys tonight, tasted pretty nice. Had it on the rocks alone though, so I don't know how it would be with coffee- but I'm not a big coffee drinker anyway so I don't think it really matters.

This is an arbitrary rule, I think, just like "beer before liquor, never been sicker." Mixing light and dark liquor doesn't matter, but having more types of liquor than your stomach can handle is a bad idea. I find it hard to believe you'd get sick if you drank whiskey and vodka in the same night, but you'd be totally fine if you drank vodka along with clear bacardi and tequila.

I got fucked up off around 4 shots of whiskey, 5 of grey goose and a few smirnoffs with some (more) vodka thrown in. I can't really chug away beer, for the most part it's pretty fucking shitty and thus can't understand it when people throw back can after can of bud light and shit like that.

Best. Stuff. Ever. I remember the first time I had it, I was a freshman in college and I thought that the people I was drinking with had diluted some cheap vodka with water.

A shot in coffee after a dinner out on the town is how I use Baileys...not to get drunk from, just liven up a bland coffee at a restaraunt. Either Baileys or a shot whiskey as in what's known as an Irish Coffee.

I do not drink to get drunk or buzzed anymore...too old...would keel over.

I'd have to say my favorite drinks are at current either a GOOD white russian (with the right proportions of vodka, kahlua, and milk) or a rum & coke. But not just any rum. Bacardi green apple rum and a regular coke, tasted great and still got me drunk.

The beer before liquor thing is just because if you're drunk on beer, you're likely to be reckless with your liquor when you first start drinking it, whereas if you start with liquor and switch to beer, you're slowing down. If you got drunk on sipping scotch, and then did a shitload of beer bongs, you'd be just as fucked.

I hate stupid rules like those, whether they are drinking related or not.

For you people that say you like Baileys, do you get drunk on it? If so, that is filthy. If not, why not just add vanilla to milk or something? Save yourself a ton of money?

Another thing that sucks (except for flaming dr. pepper's... man i kind of want to do those) is Amaretto.

i think my least favorite is my favorite.. shots of cheap vodka. i hate them because they taste even more awful than most shots already do, but i love them because they are straight and to the point, social, and cheap.

my least favorite beer is bud/miller. i fucking hate it when people insist on drinking either of the two because they still dont taste good at all and if im gonna drink shit beer then it might as well be beast or nati for like half the price.
