    You can only make a movie so mature when it is based on kid's toys.

    When you look past it's misgivings such as:
    The leather interior of the car, as well as it's engine vanishing when in robot mode.
    Or it somehow increasing it's mass fourfoldwhen changed to robot mode, yet still being compact enough to inconspicuously hide under a veranda.
    Or a metallic spy transforming into a plastic stereo system.
    Or having a storyline which focuses on these robots securing spectacles which contain the location of a cube as it was a hundred years ago, but had since been moved under the Hoover dam, rendering Shia's character entirely obsolete.

    ...it was still entertaining enough to see.

    i liked 300, i liked die hard, but this movie was... well... micheal bay.

    when the opening credits role, Hasbro was listed as a producer. nt

    i think it had a bit going for it, but just kept getting michael bay'd. goddamnit.
