I believe that insurance companies offer less expensive group benefits to companies that drug test. benefits are already a huge expense as it is, I can see why drug testing is so popular in the US as opposed to Canada Epine. pot is just getting caught up in the mix because a lot of other drugs tend to ruin lives.

im due to get my piss test soon, and i hope that is all it is. my one friend, almost four years ago, got a hair test to work at Goodyear tire! :fear:

Pot is an utterly annoying drug. It can make a person play Subspace for 4 hours, even after they've stopped enjoying it all that much. Makes it far too easy to be and stay bored without realizing it, though the first 20 minutes are pretty interesting, I guess. And alcohol ... it requires too much to keep the enjoyment going. Not that it isn't one of the best all-around drugs -- no wonder pretty much every human culture uses it -- but you have to keep drinking to keep happy, and as you keep drinking, you get tired, stupid, and possibly hung over. I woke up with a hangover 2 hours after I went to sleep the other night and wanted to die for the next 6 hours.

The dainty poppy, however ... a seemingly innocuous little devil sitting on a muffin. If you randomly throw half of that muffin into your back yard at the right time of year, you may later have the pleasant fortune of imbibing the very grandaddy of all drugs -- responsibly and in moderation, of course ...

my buddy tossed some mushroom caps off his balcony during a raid of some sort, and a few months later he's got shrooms growing down there. he said they werent as potent but it was a nice surprise anyway

nah he lived in orlando, probably just some mulch/dirt. humidity and the ability for the spores to colonize are all they need. you can grow shrooms in ground up brown rice for instance.

Working in a manufacturing field, it has come down to the Insurance Companies making these decisions for you. They will offer a company outrageous insurance premiums that nobody can afford...or else have mandatory testings. Just like the insurance companies are doing with health care. They decide, not your doctor, if you need additional hospital time after an operation.

People pay out the ass for insurance and usually never get anything back, other than the idea that your insured. Well the Katrina survivors know them well.
A well orchestrated casino that makes your lifes decisions for you, collects monies and you usually never see a dime of it again.

How many public pools have no diving boards? especially a high dive? thank the insurance companies for that. Pools/country clubs either got rid of them or would be forced to close due to no insurance.

Drug testing only became mainstream in the work place when insurance companies forced this to happen. Not in all situations, but in many of the workplace environments...odd how Vicodin and other scripts are not the problem, but god forbid Pot is in your system.
