lol there is no such thing as rebirth, for ur memories are what makes u what u are today, it determines ur thoughts, ur decisions, everything about u.

To fool ur self, u can say that the person who is born after you die is a reincarnation of you, with no memories attached to this life, so that his/her decision are not affected by anything you have done.

I recommend the book "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" by Mitch Albom.

One of the more memorable quotes: "In death, everything becomes clear."

Am I scared of death? I think everyone is at least a little bit afraid of dying. I'm more afraid of what happens after you die. And if it's true, that there is a God, I think I'll be pretty scared to meet Him. But even that is better than a bleakness without any conciousness or sense of time and space. So we go on bickering about God and religion when we'll all find out for ourselves one day. To me, even if I'm not certain, to have hope of something after I die is better to accept the fact that there is a whole bunch of nothing waiting for me.

The more I think about my own mortality, the more I think about the preciousness of life. When Pablo Picasso died, his last words were, "Drink to me." A celebration of his life. Even if we know it as an inevitability, it's still impossible (and infinitely interesting) to ponder what will happen when we die.

I smile when humans die, a few less parasites in this existence so no death when it applies to the unnaturally intelligent humans is great.

Unnaturally intelligent? What does that even mean?

yeh, it's the same for me. Watching someone close die (inner family, very good friends) will probably hard as fuck to deal with. Luckily I've been spared from that for now...!

Would you want to know when you die, if it was possible? It would be very tempting for me, at least.
                          An interesting concept..

If you knew the exact time and date you were going to die, wouldn't your entire life change?

I mean, we all know we're going to die.. But we kind of ignore the fact, we get on with whatever worthless pointless things we do because we are not self conscious of that clock slowly ticking away.

If I knew when I was going to die, whether it were in a week or in 40 years, I'd be savouring every single second between now and then because suddenly it would become a reality to ones mind.

I try to live as best I can now, experiencing as much as possible and getting as much as I can from life, hence why I just returned from Australia last month and hence why I'm planning a trip to the Colosseum now.

But I think if I knew when my death was going to come, I'd suddenly be rushing to fit so much more into my life, because there'd be a fixed timescale in which to do everything. =/

Im more scared about others dying than myself. I rather live long enough tho..but not too long either. And when I die, I hope I go with style!

I have experienced too much death to be worried about it. I actually wouldn't mind dieing, I would like to stay alive for another 80 years, but if death came tomorrow, I wouldn't really mind that much.. I am curious about what happens after, and if I am lucky (and no it has nothing to do with heaven or hell) I'll get to see some people again.

i think all of you are a bunch of lyers. it is an instinct in the deepest part of our brain to be afraid of your death and i have yet to see someone on a bad trip laughing his ass off.
