so the will to survive IS fear of death, because death is danger, if not to your soul and spirit which had been tought death is a bad thing than to your body which by instinct tries to avoid it. also being scared of something is a fear.

so anyone who has the will to survive fears death. you can fight this will but you cant get rid of it, its an instinct.

just a sidenote about the definition. i don't know if it's a response to 'impending danger' because a lot of people develop irrational fears. i, for instance, am afraid of moths and mushrooms. neither of which pose any sort of 'impending danger'.
