As for me, i'm following the theory that online and r/l dominant parts of personality are formed by the circumstances and trying to merge them or transfer them from one side to another is not reasonable.
For example, when you go out for a walk on the street, you don't see people running around shouting random insults at you...While it may happen, the consequences for the action will be totally different, and because of it people will keep to certain boundaries of interaction.
But if you "hang out" online in a community of a competitive and often frustrating game, especially if it is forgiving to stupid actions, you can automatically assume that the level of conversation will be different and that YOU will automatically adjust your level closer to the one of society you interact with. As it's said in a proverb "You live with wolves, you howl like wolves".

IMHO your actual behaviour is higher than TW-average, so you shouldn't worry about it to that degree.

That said, i by no means am implying that "anything goes in TW", as there are people who act below even the meager TW standarts, now THEY have a problem.

Blood, I'm not sure if you're asking why I bother to share personal things with the community, or why I'm bothering to change my attitude. The answer to the first is because it helps me to talk about shit, plain and simple. The answer to the latter is because I need to take some action before I slide further down the spiral. An attitude adjustment is just what the doctor ordered.
