@ money, ATi has faster card when you search at the lower end (cheaper stuff) I do agree on that nvidia is faster, if you have a little more money to spend. anyways benchmarking my card showd it as fast, even faster than a 8600GT 512MB and mines only 256, altho I would have lost against a 8800GT 320MB. :F
2:Entertainer> Supreme Auth> we should all be like: Morh> EIN REICH EIN VOLK EIN FUHRER and then jones and logain would be "SIEG HEIL o/"

keep in mind those cards on the right aren't ordered they're just classed

I've gone for an Overclockers UK nVidia 8600 GT 256 Mb DDR3, judging from benchmarks, its adequate enough for my needs, and will proof me for DX10. Also doesn't require an external power source (PSU) which is a plus because my case is a bit cramped (Micro ATX). Only set me back £60 which is great value for a decent card.

With upcoming drivers it has been said that nVidia will manage to squeeze a lot more FPS out of it as there were some issues with the drivers not performing too well.

Thanks for the help, it is much appreciated!
