When I first played Planetside I was like "Wow, this isn't turn based, you actually shoot at people, it's fun, but it's too laggy to be able to do something like this." It was a good concept, just way before its time.
Tabula Rasa is a good mix of your basic MMORPG infused with gunplay that's based off of stats with a fast action feeling. The beta is free right now to everybody at www.fileplanet.com right now if you wanna get in. I wish I could play more, but I concede and admit my video card fails. I'm off to get a new one soon, so I can play Heroes 5 again.
