Don't believe it, its actually the worst game i ever bought. got absolutely no reply value at all! and I did so much to get that game.

Its fun at start but after you finish the game and play a bit pvps, you can throw it to the garbage.
I don't know how the expansions improved the game tho.

Vista is a homosexual piece of shit. I hate how I'm being forced to use it due to my 4gb ram and dx10 card.

I'm actually taking a break from the game now, awaiting a new patch. I were pretty active in the beta, and it was more bugged than Starship Troopers. I were hoping for the release to be alot more polished, but they just strapped on the Test Center (like a beta in the beta) build of the game. I'm done beta testing this game now, so I'm going to sit and wait to this game is a release version, because it's sure as fuck not that now.

Still, the gameplay is hands down awesome (Just to make that clear, I love the game). I hope they patch it soon, I'm too tired of the bugs to play on right now.

This brings me to an interesting point I were discussing with a friend.
I'd rather see this released by Blizzard, and by that be guaranteed a much more polished and all-round better product. He thinks that having HG:L struggling with bugs is a price worth paying, because if FFS actually nails this down somewhere down the road, we'll have another superawesome game developer. I'd agree with him if this wasn't my Diablo 3.

-RTS
-MMORP.. hell, not MMO in any way
-For fagbox 360 or other consoles
-Available on msn
-Old like sven co-op
-FPS, the guy I play with doesn't exactly like them
-More fastpaced or atleast different than civilization 4 which we are playing right now, even if I have to admit I'm having difficulties thinking of slower games
-And I almost forgot the most imporant: sports

my friend pretty much nailed it with saying that the same shit happened with diablo 2 as well, the first version of it pretty much was buggy as fuck and had a lot of problems, but by the time a couple of patches gone through, the game was fun as hell and great.

we been playing it so far (not the beta) and besides some annoying bugs that randomly sprout here and there (like getting stuck after jumping onto something, or after putting different weapons in your other holsters wont disappear for some reason), its pretty much fine.

I'm not too fond of the way the chat client works though, the toggle box gets annoying.

If you get stuck use /stuck, then you'll get ported to the the beginning of the instance, without any changes/respawns to it.

In the beta the chat was different, it was always up, full of life, and less dominant. Each line just faded out after X time. They changed it to this horrible, horrible chat. Nobody even use it now.

That's what usually happens to games post-beta. A chat in beta is always a hell of a lot nicer, because they're full of people who wanna be there. Then when all the retail people drop in, full of assholes.

No, it's not that. They changed a perfectly good beta chat into the WORST chat system I have ever seen in a online game. Now nobody uses it. You won't get any responses if you write in chat, or even pm a friend, because nobody plays with the chat window open. When it's open it overides other interface possibilities. Like accepting quest rewards.

For Kim:

-Do not use the nano forge to upgrade armor parts, this actually decreases the stats. (bug)
-If you mod a weapon, and then upgrade it a few times, do not remove the mods unless you want to change them all. Mods has a max level, and you can increase the item level to go beyond the mod level range. You can't upgrade mods. So you might not be able to put everything back on after you take it off to replace just one. (design flaw)
-You can invite friends to your party, and then go into your own instance to emualte the Players X feature from Diablo 2. (nice)

Oh, is it one of those chat windows that requires you to actively remove yourself from controlling your character to use?

You still get to use your character combatwise. You can't however click anything on the screen if I remember correct. Selecting quest rewards? Forget it.

It will be fixed, but the game just needs to spend some of that initial cash to make it a viable release first. Sucky strategy, but I'm not giving up such awesome gameplay for that.

I've got to agree, when I was in closed beta for WoW the chat and people were awesome. We were all into a game that only a handful of people got to experience. Everything was new, the world was conquerable. The people who played were generally smart knowledgeable people who shared in the experience. Now it's full of cunts and 13 year old losers, but I still find fun in the dungeon crawls.
