Couldn't have said it any better, really. Zerz, you and I have always gotten along pretty well. You're a smart guy, and I respect what you have to say, since you've obviously given it some thought.

I just think that your comments sometimes seem really geared negatively towards America, and this isn't going to turn into me nit picking comments it's just an observation over the past few years. If Concrete wants to expand his argument and find comments to prove this, by all means but I honestly don't want to get into it with you.
The majority of general discussions of the last 5 years have been about America's foreign policies. And you must have noticed that I totally disagree on their foreign policy.
The other discussions I remember me having arguments with Americans have been about Microsoft, Abortion, Homosexuality and OJ Simpson.
But I don't see how my liberal stance on the last 3 -and conservative stance on the first- makes me anti-American. I don't think all Americans would disagree with me.
If there had been any active Muslim users on this board I probably would have had arguments with them about Homosexuality, religion, abortion, Q8 and THEIR foreign policies.
The person I probably had the most 'arguments' with on these forums is Galleleo and no one ever told me I seem anti-Dutch.
Americans in general are a bit more nationalist, than Western Europeans and whenever I see someone make a nationalist statement I want to challenge it.
Not because I don't agree with what they are saying, I just want them to defend it . Pride and objectivity are incompatible;
You can be proud when something you are related to is good, but something isn't automatically good because it's related to you.
We think too often of US and THEM, while every human is basically the same. So don't you ever wonder why these two worlds seem to disagree so much?
I never lost my cool in any of these discussions, if I was rude it was because I am cynical by nature, not because these matter themselves really affect me.
That and a few of my role models are/were American
EDIT: Thinking of it, nothing seems to piss people off more than asking them to look at the other side of things. You ate some priest porridge

When someone someone comes along and does this you completely remove people's comfort level.
I went to high school where one acquaintance killed one of my friends best friends by choking him to death at the back of our school, I went to school with rapists (they were charged) kids who kicked a kid to death over a pack of smokes, I've been at three high schools alone where multiple kids lost their lives in gang related violence.
and through it all people wonder why I wanted to drop out and find an alternative way of finishing high school... tell me one good fucking reason why sticking 2000 shit fucks together is a good idea, especially when half of them don't want to be there, it's breeding grounds for problems and it always will be. This isn't an American, Canadian, German or Dutch problem this is everyones problem.

Here's an idea of how cheap it was.
It's kind of funny I was trying to find something for sale that was the same model as my house and I found one on my old street. Anyways, the house your looking at is fully brick, there's 3-4 bedrooms and it's a 2 car garage. It's a pretty big house with a decent size lot.
When Brampton first started opening it's housing market you could buy that for $190,000 which is astonishing for a house like that in Canada. If you lived in Mississauga where I currently reside the houses for something a lot older and maybe not as big goes for 400-500k.
The common issue was immigrants getting together with other families and purchasing these houses, sometimes you'd see a house with 20-30 people living in it. It's absolute craziness. You'd have schools with a 70 percent brown population and 20 percent black population and the rest pretty much made up the Spanish and white population. In Mississauga it's predominately white, and this was the first time I was a minority, and it was in no way shape or form fun, a lot of the kids started to realize there numbers and started to lash out at kids of other races probably cause some dumb fuck white kids treated these kids like shit prior to them moving to Brampton.it makes me sick when i think of it, all my heroes could not live with it so i hope you rest in peace cause with us you never did

Well, we help the weak ones when the economy is good and we have plenty of resources to spare. Wait until harsh time comes when even the strong ones have to worry about keeping their families fed.

basically Brampton has a lot of flaws but one was building the houses before they built the road, Bovaird is a major road with one lane for literally 30 minutes! I use to live on Bovaird and I'm sure that with the Go Train going in so close to my house has made those more desirable, plus the fact that it's a suburb that doesn't have a lot of problems compared to where I went to school and pretty much hung around all the time.
I need to post a picture with one house that managed to park 9 cars on their lawn/drive way. The way these people would organize their vehicles on their property was ingenious, want to see something hilarious? Watch 20-25 people try to get into these cars and all drive away at 8 in the morning. I slightly understand why families do this, and financially it's a good move especially if you can't afford to buy a house and want to work towards having your own slice of the pie but these places generally aren't a great idea, it might look good to only be dishing out half what you would if you had an apartment it still takes a huge toll on the neighborhood and the house itself, try and sell a house that had 20 people living in it, somethings just aren't possible.
Oakville is probably the best place to buy Eric, it's rated number place to live and even though you're living in the ritzy place the new subdivisions aren't that expensive and you know they're gonna go up, just make sure you have a car, it's nearly fucking impossible to get transit in Oakville unless you have a car. Fuck Toronto, it's ridiculously expensive to live downtown. When you live down there it feels like a heart attack a minute, you're always moving always having to be conscious of your entire body, it's also hit or miss in streets around Toronto and even though you spent a shit load of cash on a nice condo there's ghetto ass buildings two blocks away that cost a tenth of what one of those condos do.it makes me sick when i think of it, all my heroes could not live with it so i hope you rest in peace cause with us you never did
