One of my friends in college is taking a bullshit web class (Multimedia Design) where they have to learn a little bit about a bunch of programs- Dreamweaver, Flash, etc etc and how to build a website.

There's honestly some classes in college where you just aren't going to use the material down the road, so it's not too big of a deal to master a program you know you aren't going to use in life.

exactly this. it's pretty much this class; i hate it. i'm going to see if i can change it next year

ok, so i finished this assignment finally. i think i did an ok job. it was mostly just playing around with flash until i got stuff to work. and some some i found tutorials of on the internet

and i found i needed to make a keyframe on the background as well as the curtains to tween them correctly
