Yes, I was talking about Gall.

I don't like rap, but that has nothing to do with me hating to see someone die so young. Prayers.

Edit: durr grammar, "so die young" sounds like a great chinese food place.

The only thing that annoys me is that when famous people die they get all this attention and why? Because he rapped a few songs? If someone like Nelson Mandela dies, then yes, very sad day cause he was incredibly important to South-Africa and the world to a certain extent. And yes its shitty for his friends and family, but what has he done to deserve to get so much attention? Absolutely nothing. I just find it annoying that just because someone played in some movies, had some hits, etc. that they should deserve to get so much attention when they die.
      hypocritical european, next.

Yeah man, I cried too when Kurt Cobain shot himself! And when Ayrton hit the concrete.

I was 11, but still, I could relate with you back then Money.

Now I only idolize immortal artists, like 50 Ct. HAHAHAHA JK

UGK was a joke anyhow, buncha "giggaduhgigga" blabbers (this isn't racist, its what they sound like when they rap. like soulja boi) with nothing good to say. Rap used to have a message.

It's a forum post! There are a lot dumber threads than someone paying tribute to an entertainer that entertained them. These idiots are acting like Money came to their house and built a shrine to the guy in their driveway.

Money has made plenty of threads about how he likes rap in the music forums, and you guys didn't go off on him in there, why did you choose a thread where he's trying to pay tribute to a guy that died?

You missed the point, its not about that it is a rapper. I would still not care if it was Leonardo DiCaprio that touched his life. What have those people done to deserve special threads as opposed to the 'common' man in streets that die too?

As I said, make a post about Mandela dying I can understand that, that guy was actually important, made a difference, gave his life to fight for a just cause. Make a post about George Clooney being found dead in his car.. I don't care how good off an actor he is, what has he done to deserve to have his death put in the spotlight like that while so many others just go by unnoticed?

What makes the whole rap part worse is that most of these gangster rappers glorify crime and breaking the law and what not. They talk about their bitches and ho's. At Leonardo DiCaprio tries to do something about the environment..

But my point is made about famous people in general, not just rappers. As I said, it is very shitty for his family and friends that he died so young, I would not wish that upon my worst enemy, but why does he, 50, Kayne, Clooney, Depp, etc. deserve a thread because he died?

You came in here and posted that you didn't care about something because you hadn't heard of it. You do it in a lot of threads. It's annoying. Stop doing that if you'd like to be less annoying.

There's no reason to respond to anything you said in the last post really, because either you know it doesn't make any sense or you're dumber than you come off and you won't understand what I say anyway. Still, I'm going to because I don't have anything better to do while I cook my chorizo and eggs. People make threads about videogames. People make threads about comedy films. People make threads about their favorite kinds of foods. You're saying nobody can make a thread about a celebrity dying just because the celebrity isn't Nelson Mandela? That just doesn't make any sense at all, and you're just spewing random crap because you came into a thread just to say that you didn't care about something because you hadn't heard of it and people told you that nobody cared that you don't care.

edit: check out that last sentence

Because they had an influence on someone's life.

If you were adopted at birth and you never knew your real mother and never knew you were adopted, would your mother still have any value to you then? Would you mourn her death?
No, because you never knew of her existence.

Is Nelson Mandela a better person, really? Are you the one to decide for us who's most deserving? Do your values really matter to us? If I were a racist Afrikaner, I would probably hate Nelson Mandela. (I would hate Money's rapper too of course).
If I advocate revenge and violence I would think of Nelson Mandela as a wussy and probably have more with a gangster rapper.

What's important to you? If you relate to an artists music very much, especially the lyrics, you might feel connected to that artist. He might have never known you, but it feels like he does when you hear his music. And it feels like you know him. What has Nelson Mandela done for me? Damien Rice, David Gray, Salif Keita, Mos Def, Blackalicious have all done a little more 'for me' than Nelson Mandela.
Later on in life I might forget about these artists, but if they were to die on this moment, I would at least feel the need to make a thread about it.

Nelson Mandela is still alive, and I am pretty sure he'd have his thread too.

These motherfuckers ask, "Is it the bark or the bite?"
It's both, chillin' on streets you scared to park on at night
Just forfeit just like I'm becoming part of the light
And you, you goin' to be the biggest mark at the fight

THIS IS REAL STREETS STUF. PURE POETRY.
