You can still use an ip phone even if some is at the computer. Can't be without a cell phone tho, agreed.

IP phones aren't as good as standard analog phones. It's cheaper, but the quality is variable.

If you got a laggy/bad connection, then your IP phone will become equally laggy and bad. Just like everything else on the internet, IP phones are affected by ping/lag.

whaaat? bandwidth caps? what is this?! id be pissed if i had a bandwidth cap when i pay 59.99 a month for 8mb cable they better not limit that shit, and the cisco made scientific atlanta modems arent bad thats what time warner and comcast have used for years

i pay 35 bucks a month for unlimited bandwith and a 10.0mb connection speed

my PARENTS PAY for a 40mbit connection with a download cap of 10 GIG and an upload cap of 1.5 GIG. So feel very happy that you can download 80gigs or even unlimited. We can buy extra blocks tho' 1€ for 1 gig. it costs us about 40ish euros
