it's fucking ridiculous that we're not having this league because staff has no interest meanwhile there's plenty of fucking interest within the community. i probably suck now more than i did a year ago at sb but i'd still like to see a league for it. twrc seems like a pretty simply run league, so hopefully after they're done setting up that bullshit they might turn their attention towards something more deserving like a legit shot at a twsbl.

i have actually read dianetik i guess one of the "holy books" of scientology and it was crazy talk. it seems like the writer copy pasted some wikis between how he would like the world to work. but he doesnt even seem clever doing so, nor does he ever get to the point and whatever he labels as fact is his pure evil imagination.

i went to the church of scientology celebrity centre international when i was in l.a. (my friends and i drove by and decided to stop in to see what the hub-ub was about). it was pretty fucked up just in the sense that they hooked is into this tour, in which they did very little talking and tried to explain their religion through several 1-2 minute long videos. when we tried to leave (multiple times) they always managed to rope us into one more video.

Zerzera, I was merely replying to Yam out of courtesy before commenting on the disrespect. I didn't think that the order of the topics I decided to discuss would eventually backfire on me as a sign of disrespect. But, alas, if you think it's disrespect, at least mine wasn't as blatant as other's.

Noah, I just think there's a fine line between what you can kid about and what you can't, that's all. How would you feel if your father died and someone made jokes about it? you have a point though, i was pretty disgusted when i saw the croc hunter on tabloid magazines the day after he died, thought to myself, oh what a great thing for his family to see. but this is just tw forums, we can't ourselves too seriously here.

edit: as far as tom cruise is concerned, he said i want to help people like 5o times but i don't think he has any idea how. this cult thing seems like it is going to help people whether they want it or not.
