Mod that shit with custom firmware, and you can download + play any game, plus run a ton of emulators. All it takes is a bit of googling. Right now I have 5 PSP games, and NES/SNES/Genesis/Gameboy emulators on my memory stick.

Pro Tip: You need PSP version 1.50 to mod it without issue. In the know, they call it a "virgin PSP", because it's never been updated from the very first version.

so uh i'm at the last battle (it seems) for Jeanne D'Arc and uh...I don't leave until sunday....NEXT SUNDAY. So I now need a new game. Hit another Home Run Dame, whats my next best pickup?

I haven't played this personally, but I heard "Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror" was pretty sick if you wanna give that a shot. Action shooter with good controls for a PSP game.

If you like Metal Gear, hit up Portable Ops+ or the Acid games. I actually liked Acid 1 and 2, but it might not of been for everyone.

Hmm... I wrote what I have near the top of the thread. Outside of that, there really aren't a whole lot of good PSP games out there.

so I rented Joan of Arc and Dungeons and Dragons tactics, I've only played Joan so far, but I really like it. Something is just funny about getting called a frog, and the fact that Joan is completely insane. It kinda feels like the game is almost over though, even though I just started. The world map isn't that big, and i've covered at leats a third of it. You have way to many characters (i have 10 right now, considering you can't use 10 I don't see the point in time, half of them ride the pine).

Jeanne D'Arc is truly a great game. so much story, and very straight forward, you dont have to waste alot of time to run to random places to figure out what you're doing.

if you like music game, i suggest you play DJ Max Portable 2

just like DDR but with fingers, you can first start with 4 buttons, then 5 buttons, 6 buttons and professional level 8 buttons. super addictive. this game is the only reason why i bought my psp

How was D & D?

Boxy. yeah thats how i'm describing it. It reminds me of an old school Russian Car. It started out awesome enough, It's very customizable (your party). You've got a crudload of races (including half breeds, Half Eleves and Half Orcs) and a bunch of classes. Then you've got a bunch of Deities, and skills and then it became overly complicated. Have you ever played a Elder Scrolls game? Think of how complex those can be for making a character, but now make 4 of them. Yeah, it doesn't really work or translate well. So I just picked the 'random party' button and went with that, eager to see the game.

The game sucks. I hate the battle system, it's very clunky, the guys move like there the tinman for some reason, and it's way to many saving throws and hide checks and shit for me. You do a check on Hiding EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU MOVE. "Failed to Hide Succesfully" while you're in plain sight, outside, on a summer day, with a goblin 10 feet from you. OF COURSE I FAILED TO HIDE! It's very clunky and boxy, and I couldn't get into it and in turn got nowhere in it. Had I played it before Jeanne, it would have gotten a better chance, but I just threw it back in the rental case after an hour or two.

tbh you should get

-a framed camping backpack
-a tiny nuclear power generator with 12v AC/DC outlets
-an xbox
-a flatscreen monitor
-wireless adaptor

mount nuclear generator and xbox in backpack, secure flatscreen to a minion of your choosing's back, wire all as necessary. recommended: second minion to handle games library, loading/unloading of cd's, and to operate the uranium control rods.
