Oh don't get me wrong, it freaks me the fuck out. This is a generation of people that insert "like" in between every other word.

But there we have very vibrant and creative qualities as well.

The thing that worries me is the lingering, spoiled, self-importance our generation inherited from the boom. A lot of kids you'll meet are concerned only with themselves and their micro-managed lives. I'm convinced they're going to be the end of empathetic humanity. After all, if you don't even have the desire to correctly speak a language, how determined do you think many in our generation will be to do anything other than continue to find new ways of getting fucked up.

I know some of this is reflective of myself and the TW community, but I think here you'll find a group of people who are at least honest with their actions and expressions. It just scares me for the kids that think it's cool not to be honest about anything with themselves.

As for my tattoo - like X said, "royal is my race", it's my family crest.

And not getting a good job? no problem, I don't want to work in an office or bank. I do car audio installation at a big box store, and I'm more than happy to be there
I have friends who make a good amount of money doing jobs they hate - that's not me. Sorry!

and i know plenty of people in the professional world with pretty incredible tats.

i know people that have sleeves done. its pretty easy to wear a nice long sleeved shirt and cover them up during office hours.

as long as you can cover your tattoos up for the most part, you can be just fine. now, face tattoos and gaudy facial piercings and such... gonna wanna watch those.

Argh....tattoo's are soooooo 1998! As long as you don't have one on your face or hand, they are quite common and more than socially accepted, imo.
