I like how nobody's even trying to support me for my birthday present. everyone here has negative things to say.

my laptop is very high quality. Very durable, and runs spectacularly. you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between an XPS and this if they were put into the same casing. Nobody really needs 2 jillion terabytes of memory or a core dual processor unless you're doing something very productive (which I will be doing on my mac)

You're trying to sell a used laptop at a much higher price than what it is worth! Do you expect us to just ignore this, and basically give you extra money over what it is worth without questions? If I ever were to buy a used computer instead of a new (which is highly unlikely), it would have to be significally cheaper than what I could get at stores.

You've been on the forums long enough to know that there is never something wrong with everyone else, it's always the poster who claims so. Dameon Angell even gave you a suggestion of a price, and you still say that nobody has done so. I'm no expert on laptop prices, but I know that Dameon knows his stuff, so I'll agree with him on 850$ as a price.

I get it, you got little money, and it's your birthday, but are you going to throw a fit because we don't want to give you money?

More and more games today, and not to mention Vista takes alot out of your memory, and dual core CPUs are already a minimum requirement for some games (like Assassins Creed). You're flat out wrong here. Also, I love how you are insinuating that you are the only one out of us that have this need (this is a forum mostly made up of gamers), and/or you are the only one who is very productive.

Even $850 is a bit high. This is a used laptop, with a lower-end dual core processor, 1GB of memory and a decent graphics card (for a laptop).

That fact that it's used means that the battery is worn down and that ends up being a $150 or so expense when it needs replaced. Also, are you going to include the restore disks that came with the computer? That's another $40 if someone wants those.

A more realistic price...somewhere around $500. You're taking into consideration how much you originally paid and not the laptop's worth in today's market.
