Sword of the New World. It's a mmorpg I've recently started playing. There are some unique attributes that I'd like to discuss.
It's a MCC(multiple character client or some such) which means that you play as 3 characters at once. You can play as one or 2, but 3 is obviously the best choice. You control them all point & click, and you can have each one act separately or as a whole.
UPCs. Unique Player Characters are NPCs that you have the ability to play as after completing certain quests. UPCs have different stats than the original classes, and have unique skills.
Stances. Each class/UPC has a number of "stances" they can learn. With each new stance is most likely a different weapon-type or in some cases just the right level. The only skills a character can use at one time are the ones in the specific stance they are in. In addition to common leveling my experience, you also gain experience for the stance you're in. The higher your stance is leveled the more character bonuses such as Attack Speed and Block you get. Also, you gain the ability to learn new skills and upgrade the skills for each stance as you level them.
AFK Leveling. My favorite aspect of this game is the ability to AFK level. There are certain "modes" you can put your team in. Assault mode(attacks everything on the way to a certain spot), Hold Mode(attacks anything that comes within range of your weapon), and Defend Mode(Attacks anything within a certain radius of the screen). While in Defend or Hold mode your Scout(healer) automatically heals your teammates. This makes it easy to level while AFK or, as I do, while playing SS. Kinda hard to do it if you don't have a fast computer or good internet, though. Luckily I have both so I can run SS and SotNW at the same time. But it's good if you have to work and want to leave it on to level up and do the grunt work.
