You could BS a topic of how the Amygdala insidethe prefrontal cortex in the brain is significantkly different in makles than in females and therefor induces more artistic ability usually in the males or somethign along those lines. yea i ended up bsing the paper...it was a part of the final exam considering i had to make a notebook of all the papers we did throughout the semester of art class...i was making up some papers i missed :X my other paper i was writing was on Running Fence, with Christo, if anyone of u know it, pretty cool artist. anyway, im done with all that and i turned in the notebook this morning so...1 more speech i need to give in communications class as well as 3 papers for english and im done for the semester...than i can play GTA4 without stopping, FUCK cant wait

Art History was a class I enjoyed simply for the fact that almost all art in a classical stature prior to the 19th & 20th century can be related on all levels; be it architecture, sculpture, painting and so on.

Keep in mind that most of the art you will see in the museums prior to the 19th century was commissioned work by kings, lords & specifically the Church. Noting this, as well as a woman’s role in society during the times of 12th, 13th, 14th and so on up to the 19th, women’s roles in society did not intertwine with the norms of what we perceive today.

If this was to be solely based upon women artists prior to the 19th century, then I would blame the church, governments and society in general for the lack of any women involved in the arts.

Women did play one important role though in those days and that was modeling. If you want to note the female contributions of women in Art, it would be the modeling they had done for painting and sculptures.

this thread is stupid. It's the same reason music seems to be male-inclined, the culture didn't allow for a creative women voice as easily as it allowed for a male's and now it's taking a while to catch up. the same is true for politics, academia, businesses, etc.

Actually a lot of my teachers through the years were feminists, and not just those women who preach equal rights for feminists, those type who believe women are better than males. I've had to do shit papers like this before, or ones about how males are the oppressors of society. It doesn't help a pre-teens self esteem by always being made out to be the 'bad-guy'. I really think feminists just become teachers so they can promote their shabby beliefs about how women need to be on top.

We can agree on one thing, women comedians aren't that funny.
