well after having the damn article deleted several times, i'm about to give up. if anyone else wants to edit it, look at it, or at vote to keep it, visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trench_Wars_%28zone%29 while you still can.

well it's YOUR fucking fault that it's no good, because if you didn't like it (and mind you, there's like 1 fucking paragraph of text, if that) it takes ONE click one the fucking link at the top of the page EDIT THIS PAGE. Had you written even one sentence to contribute, I wouldn't say shit. As a matter of fact, I wrote around a 4,000 word description of the game, but have since removed most of the content to avoid having unsourced information.

Seriously, if you had spent the same amount of time, or even 1/10 of it, helping or even adding input to the damn thing as you do responding to posts here, maybe it woudn't have been the gayest wiki article you've ever read.

But wtf, I try to do something helpful to the community, but no one wants to help. It takes no time to add to an article, but it takes a good bit of time to start one. Not that it matters, it will get deleted. It will be deleted simply because i can't access the sources i need to atm and most of the information I put on it originally was unsourced.

I assume you still play trenchwars, and if so, why the fuck are you putting it down? It's not an article on danknuggets, it's an article on trenchwars. If you added anything on the AfD page, I wouldn't have even responded to this, but you felt the need to add your imput on the article in the wrong place.

One idea if you need references for Wikipedia, is simple post the a similar article in the SSWiki (http://wiki.ssforum.net) then link to it as a reference. you can also use the tw.org website. I recommned adding your article to SSWIki its a new project which is why its so emtpy. The advantage of SSWiki is u cant get away without referencing too :P

Wikipedia is going to be too strict. I would suggest working off of wiki.ssforum.net if they don't mind and once it's setup and of good quality we can put it back up. Let me know anyways, I can contribute to the article if you want to go that route.

Basically, it'll never get into wikipedia unless there are several 3rd party (non SS related) sources on trench wars specifically. Even more basic, if i do have enough sources, the editors will then say it's not notable: that it's a small part of subspace (even though it's becoming - no has been since i've played - the biggest part). Also, they claimed something along the lines of fictional works, but i think they got caught up in backstory.

Also, as with so many websites, most of the tw-related websites are beyond my reach at work so I couldn't add them in when I first wrote it. Anything that I did after that was just digging my way out of a hole.

I'm washing my hands of this. When I decided to do this, it was out of admiration for the community and wanting it preserved in perpetuity. I didn't mind taking a good bit of time and writing a decent article. I had to delete most of it to avoid sounding like a gameguide and I don't feel like rewording myself a million times in a losing battle. They don't want trench wars in wikipedia, then fine. Let everyone think spiders can cloak and the game's been dead for 10 years.

And i appreciate those that were actually willing to help, but it's a sinking ship and i'm getting off now.
