i've heard really varying views on this movie. my friend really likes it and we typically agree with movies. but i've heard people say it was terrible too.
i think people get too critical with movies sometimes. like saying "snakes on a plane" is a terrible movie is rediculous because the plot is supposed to be rediculous. I loved it.

"i can't believe that wasn't an 18, seriously what do you have to do to be an 18 ? have sex ? that film would disturb you way more than seeing people have sex ! unless it was noah !! "

but yea i thought it was a decent movie - vampires are protrayed differently in different films. These where more hack and slash vampires which isn't my type but i still liked the concept of the film and thought it was worth the watch.

it was obviously not in the same league as interview with a vampire but i wouldn't even try and compare it with a movie like that.

Did you watch "Interview with the Vampire?" I think that movie was the perfect vampire movie. It was very dark and seemingly realistic. I wish someone would remake Bram Stoker's Dracula. It could be such a great film.

That's the only movie I've liked because of how well the vampires was portrayed in the movie. Vampires are supposed to rape humans insanely hard, and elder vampires shouldn't even be touchable by humans at all. Only exceptions to this is movies that is just awesome on so many other levels that it doesn't matter anymoar (From Dusk Till Dawn). Then again, in movies like this they aren't really trying to make "serious" vampires.

i didnt like it.. and im a huge fan of vampire movies.... interview with the vampire being one of the best in my eyes...

anyway, the movie had nothing to offer, the beginning was decent at best, and the movie just drug on and on and on

basically, i watched it once by myself and once with my g/f... she hated it so i let her watch the beginning then i went to the very end....

she got the same from watching that then watching the entire movie

I'm 100% positive I rented this movie, but I can't remember a thing about it. It's possible i rented it with 3 other movies and never watched it, but equally possible is the prospect that I did indeed watch the movie, but got really stoned/drunk before/during/after the movie and it wasn't good enough to stick.

Watched it in a theater a while back, people were actually moaning it to end in half way because they didn't want to leave during the flick what they actually paid for to see. Beginning was some what promising when vampires were still just a flash of shadows. But then it turned into a typical, boring attempt of a cliché. Vampires are scary yes, but they don't have to make faces every moment. Or well it did give the movie somewhat comical aspect but in a sad way really. Gave nothing new, tried to recycle some good ideas but failed at those as well so generally just a bad movie and waste of time.
