Almost all the wasabi served in sushi restaurants are imitation wasabi. Real wasabi costs too much.

I prefer to not use the "US state-named rolls" (e.g. california, alaska).
-dragon roll
-anything with eel
-spicy tuna roll
-...
In summation, I'll eat any sushi or sashimi except for puffer fish.thread killer
Also who changed to pw to Squadless, how am I supposed to fly the banner of sucking at the game

Any roll works for me, although i prefer crunchy ones (tempura shrimp in it, or such). Actually, anything tempure works for me, especially the tempura shrimp.
In handrolls, i'dd say the spicy tuna or california ones.
To be honest, i don't find the quality very good over here, compared to other cities where i tried it (sa, nyc, stockholm).
I stopped eating edemame because i found this store that sells a 1/2 kilo (1 pound) for like 1 euro (4 dollars :P) so i'dd rather eat that at home now as a snack instead of in a restaurant
I love using wasabi though, if it doesn't come out of your nose while eating, it's not spicy enough

Vancouver is blessed with great sushi bars and authentic japanese tapas, so needless to say I go out for Japanese quite often whenever I get the chance to.
My favorite sushi would have to be Hamachi and Unagi♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫

My absolute favorite is white tuna nigiri or albacore nigiri. It just melts in your mouth.
Also high up on the list are any rolls with a combonation of tuna, salmon, white tuna, yellowtail, and avocado.
Never was a big fan of roe, especially the big eggs (not sure if they're still called roe or if it's from a diff. fish). Don't really like cream cheese in rolls either. Crab and shrimp find their way into too many rolls as well..fffffffff_____

Tuna, red snapper, yellow tail, shrimp and salmon are all great. Not a fan of the California roll, but I love a good Dynamite Roll.

I don't like to use wasabi or mayo, but a little soy sauce goes a long way.

Just got back from 2 weeks in Japan. Here's the breakfast I had at a sushi restaurant just outside the Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo:
Also had some salmon (97 yen/piece! [aka 97 cents USD/CDN]):
And of course my personal favorite, Ikura (even though the ootoro in the first pic was godly good):
