    The Mist

    Original story by Stephen King, is re-created by Frank Darabont in an epic story about a group of citizens that hole-up in a supermarket and fight for their lives as a storm from another dimension spawns blood-thirsty creatures.

    I thought this movie was so fucking awesome, yet the ending is SO FUCKED UP, not in a bad way, but just like in a "ahhhhhhhh fuuuuckkkk duuudee" kind of way. I suggest anyone that's interested in awesome movies goes out and rent this. It's just incredible.

    I went online to look up more info about this movie after watching it and found out it was filmed in Shreveport, Louisiana, lol. Go jerome! Apparently, there's a secret lab up in the mountains over by you =) be careful!

    The movie was amazing and "AAAAAAAAAHHHHH......FUCK DUDE....." is the best way to describe the ending honestly. But uh if your a reader and you like shit like this. Pick up "Seize the Night" and "Fear Nothing". Seize the Night is the sequel and theres supposed to be a final book to close the story. Deals with genetics, dimensions, and secret army base labs also. Its really amazing.

        I get that same feeling with almost all books written by King.

        Edit: Just watched the film, and the ending is just fucking brilliant. Not by the means of creativity, but just that it is so different than any other of those movies... I approve.

            My father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. I then proceeded to his home bar and made four martinis in one shaker with unfamiliar glassware and a non standard shaker and did the same thing. From that moment forward I knew he had no compunction about my cock ever being in his daughter's mouth.

                  I wanted to see it but didn't until now...

                  all I have to say is WOW... totally unnecessarily morbid ending. But then again, this is Stephen King.

                    It was a very retarded movie. Either just make a good horror movie, or make a good psychological thriller, don't try to insult my intelligence by making a bad mix of both. None of the characters' personalities made any sense, the worst of that was the complete lack of consistency in the way they were reacting to what was happening. Or was everyone schizophrenic? And the horror just looked very very bad..

                    Also Bioture, that ending was the work of the director not Stephen King.

                      well I thought it was somewhat a good movie, altho had somewhat mixed feelings at times, didn't scare me the least and it's supposed to be a horror movie but liked the idea that humans are just sheep waiting to be herded in unexpected situations.

                            i liked the parallels they drew to how when you put a group of strangers into an enclosed area for an extended amount of time, people will always form groups and pick sides.

                            i DIDN'T like the end - ridiculous. without giving up too much, i'll just say that hollywood has a tendency to have people give up way too easily. if i'm thomas jane's character, i take my chances out in the open for as long as humanly possible.
