Hi. I will be running the upcoming Proball Leauge VII. The league will begin on July 13th.
Proball League VII
Because this is Proball League VII it will be run like the previous Proball (non draft leagues). Team formation will be open. If you are interested in captaining a team (or bringing back a team from previous leagues) reply to this post or message me (or VK) in game. We can then set you as a captain and you can begin sending offers on the website. As always you will have to be !registered with the robot to be able to sign up.
Obviously games will be 4v4 on the proball map. In an effort to avoid as many blowout games as possible - and to have as many competetive games as possible - it will be run as some sort of ladder or pyramid (similar to premier league). Steps will be taken to avoid having to play the same 1 or 2 teams all season, as well. Once I get a better idea of the number of teams the format will be finalized. If enough teams sign up we could even possibly have PRO and AML playoffs to encourage new teams/players to sign up and to hopefully carry interest through the later weeks of the season. Again, nothing can be set in stone until I know how many teams will be playing, so don't be shy about captaining and creating a team.
Also the length of the season is unknown at this point too. It depends on the number of teams/players and the interest in the VK's trad tournament.
We have about a month before the season will begin so all of these details will be ironed out by then. Keep checking the forums and the main http://www.powerballzone.com page for details.
