Assuming it's within 5-10 light years even with the best technology and counting on some R&D developments and a few trillion dollars it would take at least 100-200 years to get there so not an issue within our life time if ever. The private space industry can only sustain its self if it focuses on short term goals with massive gains, there aren't any.
