You think Arnold will make a small role in this movie? Like a shot of him going back in the past.

Terminator was a declining series imo. The story was pretty interesting but I didn't like much of it after 2.

the 3 movie killed the series, definitely. The first terminator had weaknesses. The second terminator was pretty unstoppable, but I still bought it. The third terminator was plain stupid, she was too powerful, and if they had the capacity to make her, then machines definitely shoulda won.

At best, I think they should step back in time, maybe make the movie about john connor's rise to lead the people against the machines. Forget the time travel loop holes and play into the uber-sci-fi post apocolyptic future of mans vs. machines.

and take a step back from all the CGI. After all they're made of metal, should have angles and such, not stupid liquid robots.

Well it's getting called Terminator Salvation. It's technically not suppose to be a Terminator 4, rather a new series within the series.

I dunno, we'll see once it comes out, never can tell nowadays with how movies are. Depending all on how much money they're willing to fork out on it.

same idea as batman i guess, fix a crappy series by restarting the story in a different and better way. T1 and 2 were alright though, like most people said 3 wasn't that great at all.

it's not starting over, it's about John Connor growing up to a maturer adult and coming out of the nuclear protection room he was in from the third movie to find the human race being annihilated left and ride by machines, so he takes up the stand starts fighting back. it's the reason why the terminator was created, you guys who say why make another one aren't getting it, are you? They're not going to stop at one angle of a movie that is a recognizable name for a lot of people. Hell they already made a television series for this shit.

I'm not saying it isn't a continuation of the previous Terminator, storyline wise. I was saying the franchise itself is being separated into a whole new entity. Basically, Terminator is Terminator 1, 2, and 3. Then you will have Terminator Salvation (whether they'll keep the salvation name and just continue on with it or drop in new names for the title like the Batman movies is unknown) and so on with it's separate franchise.

I didn't know it was a continuation, I thought it was T4 in regards to the number of Terminator movies, although I thought they'd start the story at a different time or take a different approach in telling the story. I'm dead wrong though.

I'm not that excited about this movie, but I think it can easly beat starship troopers 3. I watch that movie with my friend. We atched it for about 20 min, after that we rewinded forward untill the end, watched the end and thats it. Don't watch that movie, C-ranked movie. :/

Who, me? No, I don't. But yeah, I have some good recorded movies at some vcrs, not at my aparment though. I haven't watched a vcr in ages. In most players you can rewind forward, simply by clicking on the designated button for that. I just simply fast clicked with the mouse to get a overall "survey" of what happens in the movie, nothing missed really.

It doesn't look too bad and some how I like Christian Bale as an actor. At least T4 doesn't seem to be a low budget movie. Though it feels kinda weird that Arnold won't be one of the main characters. But I guess thats no suprise, considering how old he is. Josh Brolin seems the be the new terminator, imdb says that is just and rumor though.
