You may be able to say japan was on the brink of surender, however it was a world war. More was at stake then 2 countries. Those bombs were a necessary evil in a time of war. Japan didnt mind taking lives in pearl harbor, germany didnt mind taking lives from the lusitania ship. Granted this was a smaller scale, however if the bombs werent done when they were, there could have been more countless lives lossed. More then just japan.

Japan was the only member of the Axis remaining at the time of the drop. I am not saying the West committed any greater or lesser crimes during WW2, it doesn't really matter today. No one is clean in war, everyone has their sins. What we know today is that given that Japan was the only remaining power against the Allies, and given their dire state of affairs the attack on their dense civilian populations did nothing to hasten the end of the war.

Clearly both America and France have made contriubtions in their own ways. Furthermore, both have their pros and contras today, as can be said about any two countries today. To each his own; debate is one thing, arguing like you have Tourettes is quite another. Stfu, thanks.
