heh, i get up for the day shift at 5:40 am, work starts at 7AM, ends at 7PM.
night shift is the reverse, but i tend to get up around 3-4PM, work starts at 7PM, ends at 7AM.

i've experienced this euphoria before

generaly it dips and despite having a good start you end up pretty much the same as if you hadn't got up early

maybe thats just me

for the first time in several years, now that i think of it. I suggest a parade in honor of this momentous occasion. with the entire day ahead of me now (instead of the usual 5-6 hours) the world is my oyster. i'll check back in at the end of my productive afternoon to let all you superfans know how awesome it was.
