A hangover is a result of dehydration, which happens after a long night of binge drinking. Water before bed tends to help.
edit: lol at "spacers"... that's like the shit that are like on binge drinking posters on campus... not to mention over-consumption of alcohol is the point of getting hammered
Yeh its on the posters for a reason...
spacers is just a name for a glass of water.. you suggested drinking water before going to bed.. spacers are the same except at a more beneficial rate and has little effect on how blotto you get..
so basically you advised of a inferior method then attacked my similair yet superior method.. FUCKING MEATHEAD FUCK.
Drink Gatorade or something that will hydrate you. Cola syrup is good for settling your stomach when it's upset. It's sold otc at most drug stores. Don't drink draft beer, try to drink bottled if possible. Space out your drinks...
Eat before you go out not after your already drunk. Eating when drunk dosen't sober you up. ONly time will. That's about it...
Unless you drink till 6 in the morning you'll probably never experience a bad hangover, a bad hangover is rare but makes you immobilized for several hours. It's like getting fucked in the head by a very large screwdriver.
Like most people said, hydrate yourself before bed and possibly take an aspirin. I think food soaks up the alcohol which might be good, (might be bad, I'm not a doctor) but I find eating and drinking (water) before bed always helps. Instead of your body processing beer and alcohol all night at least you're letting it process some sort of food.
A hangover is a result of dehydration, which happens after a long night of binge drinking. Water before bed tends to help. One thing you have to realize though, is your body is still metabolising beer for about 45 minutes after you stop drinking (so even if you stop or take a break from drinking, you're still progressively getting more intoxicated). Try drinking waiting at least an hour from when you stop drinking and when you go to bed, and drink water during that time to rehydrate your body.
Sometimes, a hair of the dog that bit you in the morning kinda helps, too.

I've had alot of discussion about this with my friends...
What is the best way to solve a hangover in the morning?
Or even better, is there a good way to solve it before you go to bed (some pre-hangover-thingy)?
And no, "don't drink" isn't a cure
Before I go to bed I always drink a few glasses of water and I make some sandwiches if I'm still capable of doing so.
Any other bright idea's? cause mine doesnt work all the time
