Hopefully it will pass.

i had a pretty interesting thought: what if obama wins and he gains a filibuster-proof majority in the congress? recent polls indicate this as a possibility.

The Dem.'s need to hold 60 seats in order to stop the filibuster. This is why this legislation should wait until after the election.

On a different note, how in the hell do ppl like (R) Boehner of OH and the chinless and no lip (R) McConnel of KY keep getting elected. If you look at their voting records, it seems that they stand for everything they bitch about and are supposedly against.

F'n can't stand McConnel. This man will filibuster anything as long as it was introduced by a Democrat.

I heard it is practically free in California anyways. Some dude i met from So Cal said he had had insomnia for quite some time and was prescriped weed. So he gets it completely paid for my his insurance. He has very light insomnia, as in he can just take a lil nyquil.

No way in hell weed will be decriminalized or legalized. Move to Amsterdam or something, plus it would throw the whole idea of "let's not get caught" out the window. Although i think it would be cool if it was legalized, i still don't mind it being illegal. I guess it's cuz i'm not a pothead, and have better things to do/smoke.
