Loved it. It was funny from start to finish, and a great send-up of Hollywood. I thought Ben Stiller has been on a bad streak lately with his last few films, but I think this may be his best.

The four leads were great and the cameos and minor roles with some bigger names may have been even better (I don't want to name who they were, as the surprise was part of the humour. Look them up on IMDB if you're really curious). I thought Robert Downey Jr. was the best of the bunch, and some of facial expressions alone in some shots drew huge laughs from the audience I was in.

I rarely go see movies in the theater, once every few years. The Dark Knight I want to see, this one as well. I love the idea of it, looks like a great flick. Batman however, has been slightly ruined for me, seeing how everyone i know has seen it twice and won't shut up about it.

Really funny movie. Cruise might have possibly saved his career with this. The intro was awesome and caught me off guard. Man, this summer has had the best movies.

I'm hesitant to watch it, because I'm somewhat sick of Ben Stiller and Jack Black movies over the years, but goddamn are you right about possibly great cameos.

i'm feeling a bit sick, but i went ahead and ate my words.

saw it last night, curiously 4 hrs after watching pineapple express. 2 movies in one day ! literally 25% of the movies i'll watch all year i'm sure.

But yeah, it was fucking hilarious. The two were both funny, but in different ways. Ben Stiller's character was way under robert downy jr, jack black, and tom cruise even. I wasn't suprised though, and his chessiness and tired comedy fit pretty well. (I swear his brand of humor gets old REALLY fast. I felt like i was just watching him from zoolander towards the end.) Jack Black was hilarious. Jr.'s ability to look like a dumbass without acting like one was pretty good on his part (you'd have to see it to know what i mean).

The previews for fake movies was A++ . Stiller's characters' old role was fricking hilarious. WAy to go full retard.

I think I've decided to no longer to take any of you guys' movie advice ever again.


Me and the ball n chain went to this last night, and it was a huge disappointment. There were very few parts that actually made either of us laugh out loud, and both agreed that we should have went to Pineapple Express instead. It really was a waste of an hour and a half as well as $18.


And the fake previews weren't funny at all. I guess if I was like 12, "Booty sweat" and "The Fatties: Fart two" might seem funny. Not so much now.

The immaturity of the previews was kind of the point.

i went in with extremely low expectations--but it was pretty good, considering how often i laughed out loud. robert downy jr. was hilarious.

it was ok the only funny parts to me were [spoilers] When he was licking the head, when he was getting stabbed by the kid and threw his ass off, and when jack black was tied to the tree [/spoilers] Thats about it

although the previews for Role Models looked good
