I dont text all that much, but this looks like it could make things a lot easier. Instead of tapping the buttons, you "swype." Looks like it may be a little difficult at first, but could be a lot faster/easier than normal texting. (The guy says at least 50 wpm is doable). The first 8 mins or so the guy makes it looks easy, skip to around 9 mins to see the judges try it out.

Really, though... texting's not that hard and most are short and concise... Doubt this will be revolutionary or anything
Edit: It looks like they full-keyboard phones would just be easier, especially considering if you don't know where all the keys are right away, your "swiping" would suck.

It's a neat idea. But in practice it looks quite clumsy, especially for a first time user. A lot of the words are mistaken for other words, which happens in T9 also.
Also, I think if they're going to "scribble" words and etc, the keyboard layout should be reconfigured for letters that commonly clump together.TelCat> i am a slut not a hoe
