I haven't done research on this unreliable source's claims yet, so I could be completely and utterly wrong, because he also mentioned something about a secret Star Wars Christmas Special movie that never "made the light of day." He said I can go on Youtube and look at small glimpses of it, but I'm too lazy and just don't give a hoot.

If you want to see the original cast of Star Wars totally high on cocaine while flying around in a sleigh instead of an x-wing, give this a shot, its funny for a few mins until you start to throw up.

yeah i agree with some of the points about no cigarettes, changing the blame to dr. manhattan, and the ease with which they fought.

the opening scene was good? got there 10 mins into it. was thinking about going back though0

It was extremely hard for me to get through, and I didn't read the book.

i heard it doesn't make sense unless you read the novel, i have though, and i enjoyed it. only problem with it is lack of large tentacles and blood on the streets.

The opening credit sequence was still pretty phenomenal.

This, along with The Comedian's opening fight were probably the best 15-20 minutes of the movie. I liked it overall, but having the best parts (in my opinion) at the beginning left me wishing the other 140 minutes could have been that good.

At least Snyder fought the studio to keep in the love scene between Nite Owl and Silk Specter, the interrogation of Rorschach and SPOILER: the destruction of New York.

And speaking of the interrogation of Rorschach, I can't believe they toned down the way he "dealt with" that child murderer. Given the graphic violence already in the movie there was no reason for it.

I will agree wholeheartedly with that one. Snyder just used Rorschach as another King Leonidas.

forgot they changed that part too, pretty disappointing, again because of the already drawn out violence

just remember though, if it was down to the very last detail, we'd all be watching this as an X rated movie on the internet instead of at IMAX theaters.

I think it's safe to assume alot of the country didn't read Watchmen. It's also safe to assume that there would be an instant parallel to Saw, not realizing the source material was written in 1985.

That's true too but I'd rather have Rorschach be a little more Jigsaw and a lot less Charles Manson.

Yeah, I suppose. I really liked the movie over all. I just wished he sorta did it for the fans sake instead of releasing a movie for the masses. But what else was he going to do? Maybe the DVD will have something. Anything.

i think you're mistaking it with that movie about a guy looking for a best man

the previews were outstanding, even people who didn't like the movie liked the previews...
