    After browsing the endless threads at the shroomery, I've discovered what seems to be the most useful information I've ever found.
    You can see this thread here.

    Apparently if you set one earphone to 400Hz (not Mhz) and the other to 404Hz, you will actually start to trip and have CEVs. I'm definitely going to try this out sooner or later.

    They said listening to electric guitar is the best way.

    i could see that working

    i can have CEV by using my imagination, or by rubbing my eyes and facing a light, so it's nothing too exciting.

    if it makes me feel all giddy and like i'm going to shit myself at the same time, then we're talking.

      There a whole theory on about this, you can google it on "binaural beats", it has its own wiki page too. I've tried it, but basically I find the sound annoying and can't be arsed to listen to it for half an hour. Edit: wtf is that "They said listening to electric guitar is the best way" doing there, one person mentioned something random about guitar music but that's about it?
