torturing yourself by going to a crappy movie, that is.

Not so much a scary movie, but it definitely did leave me with a weird ass feeling, almost sick, was Donnie Darko. Not really scary, but incredibly weird.Maybe God was the first suicide bomber and the Big Bang was his moment of Glory.

Only reason I mentioned that movie is because some of the stuff in that movie just seemed like it "could" happen....like (SPOILER) when the construction guys started throwing themselves off the roof, that shit would be scary irl....But was retarded when the guy started the lawnmower then just laid down in front of it. I lol'd...still a freaky movie thoOriginally posted by Facetious View Postthe happening was hilarious

 Blah

I am a fan of horror movies -- unfortunately I haven't seen a good one in years.

I enjoy watching Asian Horror movies because they simply are a lot better than any American Horror movies with a blonde girl screaming while being chased.

The original version of The Ring (Ringu, リング) is a great movie to watch. Ten times better than the American remake.

Ju-on (呪怨) - also known as The Grudge. Original version is nice; however the American remake was another epic fail. Stop ruining a good movie with your Buffy the Vampire Slayer characters! THANKS!

The Eye (見鬼) is a Chinese Horror movie. It was not bad.. however it's just another movie the US bought rights to and made a remake with Jessica Alba (?) if I remember right.. Go Hollywood!

That is just name a few out of the dozens of movies I've seen.

Ofcourse some old American Horror movies are okay, like The Hellraiser (First Movie), Hitchcock's stuff and such. Nowadays the film directors just plain suck. :P

i like most steven king movies
they aren't all necessarily scary, but are always entertaining to watch and sometimes have a bit of humor in them.

not sure what the scariest movie i've seen is.. i usually don't get scared and i've seen all the classics and shitty remakes

i think i might go watch some of those asian movies that turban suggested

That's incredibly funny and mean lol. Right after the scene at the funeral where they flash to what the dead girl looked like in her closet I nearly crapped myself. Then I turned to my gf and told her if the phone rang she was in charge of picking it up. 5 min of arguing later and I unplugged the phoneOriginally posted by Epinephrine View PostLOL we saw that movie a while back in our house in university. Then after the movie when the one of the girls who watched it with us and was a scardy cat went to shower, they turned on her tv to static, she walked in, screamed, then they called her hahahaha. It was hilarious. . .

Some other movies people have mentioned:

Event Horizon & Sphere - I've always been fascinated by sci-fi thrillers even when they are considered B movies so I've seen both of these at least 5 times. Sunshine is another sci-fi thriller that is actually a great movie imo and I highly recommend it.

IT - I completely forgot about this movie! I couldn't sleep for days after seeing it as a child. There's something about turning things that are supposed to be harmless/innocent into disturbing monsters, which is exactly why The Ring, IT, and the first Childs Play movie freaked me out.
