Scariest movie of all time

Not so much a scary movie, but it definitely did leave me with a weird ass feeling, almost sick, was Donnie Darko. Not really scary, but incredibly weird.

Hardly a scary movie but still one of my favorite movies I ever saw. Really love that movie

Event Horizon.

It's not even a good movie, but when I saw it on TV a few years ago, I had nightmares all night. Probably didn't help that I saw it at 2am in the morning.

I watched that when i was like 7 or 8. scared as shit. definately nightmares.
also, when i was like 3 or 4 I watched a movie called "mack and me" or something. It had aliens in it. I don't know if it was intended to be scary or not but I remember being really scared by it.

But on the topic of actual scary movies, I watched the original, 1960 alfred hitchcock's "Psycho" on halloween. It was pretty good. Not really scary to me, but I can see that in 1960 it was probably freaky as shit. Texas Chainsaw massacre would probably make the list.
On a more recent note, I thought the movie "1408" was pretty scary. Despite having sam jackson and john cusack, it was a pretty decent flick.
