he said the guy that threw the shoe got 10 years in an iraqi prison, and how throwing or hitting someone with your shoe is like the ultimate insult over there

long story short no one survives 10 years in an iraqi prison, the conditions are beyond horrible

so he basically got a death sentence

I heard he risks getting like 2 years for insulting a foreign head of state. Also he called Bush a dog which is one of the worst insults over there. It's ironic that he will be sentenced for doing such a good deed and by stating facts while Bush walks free after all his lies and after all the things he has done. Oh well gg lol.

Dog is an insult because of century old traditions. Dogs were seen as incredibly dirty, low, and stupid, the reason is because of the saliva, its saliva's supposed to be THE dirtiest thing on earth. That's why you don't see Arabs, especially Saudis, or persians having their faces licked by a dog or even owning dogs in general. Ofc, there are exceptions, but more conservative ones believe it is bad.
