i don't think it's wrong to keep an animal like that, but you have to be able to control it.

if i read that right, it said the woman was like 70 yrs old. how can you expect to keep control of an animal that's stronger than a normal adult man if you're an old woman?

Personally, I wouldn't go near someone's pet chimp, they were both stupid.
