just like most actors, Denzel plays more or less the same person in every movie. His movies are good but I think the repetitiveness of his style really bothers me.

edit: after looking on imdb, i realize i've seen far fewer denzel movies than i originally thought. but along the lines of american gangsta, training day, remember the titans, the bone collector; he always seems to play a hardass who's more intelligent than the people around him. like a smart samuel jackson. i would note that i haven't seen man on fire, john q., manchurian cadidate, preacher's wife, hurricane, and a million other of his movies.
