I'll try not to be too judgmental since I don't think I've ever read one of your posts before but I hope you don't wholeheartedly accept this video as completely true and accurate.

First, the movie is very sensationalist. I know it's important to have an attention getter to keep your audience interested but I don't need some video switching to dark colors, turning up the volume, adding some guys voice in the background that sounds like he's getting tortured, flashing stuff on the screen like "force, centralized planning, stifling creativity, poverty, breakdown of families" and so forth. This kind of attention getter is good in that it surely got my attention but bad in the fact that it makes me expect it's a load of crap that's going to make numerous ridiculous claims.

Anyways, it comes to the first point about the federal reserve. The fed needs regulation, it's been unregulated since it's conception in 1913. Ok, point taken, and I somewhat agree, the government has been known to do some shady things when nobody is watching, but then again I think that's a fair thing to say about you and I as well. But it also makes the point that if the fed has been going unregulated for all this time, why all of a sudden is it a dire emergency that if we don't get regulation we're going to burst into nazi Germany, families are going to break apart, poverty is going to skyrocket and we're not gonna be able to watch Friends on Tuesday nights anymore. Either way, based on the information given I don't feel too strongly that if the Fed doesn't have oversight we're all going to die a horrible death, and I also don't feel strongly that the Fed is perfect and doesn't need over sight. But that's how my stance was before the video so, so far this has been a waste of time.

This is where you and I differ, although they haven't given any facts that persuade me one way or the other, I'm still in the middle here whereas you're far off on the side jumping up and down with a torch in your hand ready to lay fire to the local bank. I may be exaggerating on that one but I may not be.

"the federal reserve is running rampant through our society, purposefully destroying the dollar"

"the fed is destroying the country, is it time to pull the sheet back from the wizard"

Come on, purposefully destroying the dollar? If you can't think about why this is a counterargument to the whole "oh noes, global government is coming to get you" or why this doesn't make sense even without that point then you're just accepting whatever is spit on your plate.

Do you not see the rhetoric used to evoke emotion? Do you not see how they play with lighting, the sound played, the volume of the sound, what is actually played and so forth to evoke certain emotions? I didn't bother watching the rest of the video, because I have a class in a bit, but also because I'm pretty sure it carries the same tone (haha, tone) throughout the video.

He posted Zeitgeist and believes it. No other response is needed.
