  • Oh Hello Spring

If you live in the Northeast, or maybe you're seeing the same, how are you liking this weather? It's a beautiful 86 today in Connecticut. I woke up this morning sweating, and I love it.

Yesterday I recleared the leaves I only blew into the permiter of my property, and I think for my zone (Southeast Ct, Rhode Island, Long Island) it's probably time that we can plant some annuals! I'm going to transplant some daylilies and shit today, fuck yes.

    Happy finally Spring everyone.

I just spent the weekend at a cabin with some friends right on the coast, it was amazing. I can still freshly remember the snow and I sat in the sun for hours with no shirt on! Was probably only like 70f, but it was hot enough!

        Loads of pot and beer!

                uh, can we switch.
You can totally have our 100 degree days and 100% humidity and ill take that northeast spring/summer.

I absolutely cannot stand the heat and summer time here. The humidity is always ridiculous. It was like 82 degrees yesterday and the sun was out and it was too hot for me.

The Northeast is plenty humid too mate. Since I live on the shore I actually have much more mild temperatures, but even about 3 towns North of me it gets about 10 degrees warmer with the same amount of humidity we have.

I'm sorry you have to live in such oppressive situations, time to move to a higher property tax portion of a state!

Went to the gardening store today and learned it's not time to plant annuals. The Farmer's Almanac says the last frost for this zone will be the week of May 8th. Two more weeks!

Bought some stuff anyway and put them in a little makeshift greenhouse which i'll bring in and out of the house so that I don't have to buy root bound bullshit in two weeks.

I can handle it. I worked outside in the rain last weekend.

Nothing brittle is planted yet, so it can literally snow and I won't give a shit.

                        Haha, speaking of snow: Jeenyuss.
