Considering China is like the only place where GM is making tons of money, they have a good reason to keep selling Buicks.
i have read this, and seen some of those badass buicks. their reason for not importing it was that over here, they wouldnt sell because of buick's image. i guess that sort of thing is why they are bankrupt

My American cars in the past 10 years?
I own two Buicks and they are quality cars. They're comfortable, reliable, good on gas (not incredibly), and are fairly cheap. As have been the Fords I've owned.
My old Dodge Durango, on the other hand, didn't last more than five years before becoming too expensive to continually repair, I still have my 'old' Plymouth Neon after about 12 years and it is still running perfectly, after more than 200k miles. Save for a trunk that randomly lets water leak into it on a random rainy day (say once every two years).
GM has made the mistake of trying to appeal to the wrong crowd, and not making quality cars. Ford has had its ups and downs quality wise, but from what I hear, this year's lines are looking to be top notch. Edit: Oh, this is where I heard it: http://www.theday.com/re.aspx?re=d6b...5-2dfc179013cfLast edited by PaulOakenfold; 04-27-2009, 09:23 PM.

To be honest though, if I won the lottery, the sports car I'd buy wouldn't be American.... unless it wasn't a multi-million jackpot, then I'd go for the Viper B)
