    Star Trek Movie

    The movie was great - everything you want in a summer flick. However this was attained at the price of storytelling. There aren't really any thought provoking moments, and everything that we need to know is given to us without hesitation.

    I think the casting was top notch. The effects were equally amazing. The bridge of the Enterprise did feel like an apple store, however. And the whole time-travel-alternate-reality thing has been done too many times, imo.

    verdict: 8/10. Go see it!

    Good to hear considering this is the only summer flick I plan on maybe seeing. Except of course Night at the Museum 2 with Ben Stiller (omg he is funny).

              Looks like Rotten Tomatoes gave it a pretty ridiculous rating. It looks like a lot of fun even though I'm not a Star Trek fan or seen a Star Trek movie.

                I'll go once the people in costumes stop showing up, but I'm way more excited for this than Watchmen. I'm a pretty big JJ Abrams fan

                        Eh, I'm just not much into movies lately, especially the ones cranked out for summer blockbuster money. Terminator and T2 are okay movies but I'm pretty done with that franchise, plus I don't like Sci Fi so the fact it's set in the future is a huge minus.

                        As for Pixar, eh. Songs and shit piss me off unless it's Wizard of Oz. I'll check out that 9 shit.
