Interesting, I have just read the wikipedia entry for Happiness. Apparently 50% of one's happiness depends on one's genes. So literally someone can be doomed to unhappy.
Also, only 10% to 15% is a result of various measurable variables, such as socioeconomic status, marital status, health, income, and others.
What is interesting now is that I read from a research some where that moderate amount of exercise can significant improves one's happiness for those who do little exercise.
So maybe people should start to realize that an extra hour a day could be more wisely used on exercise than on earning more money, after all it will likely to give you more happiness.
(Don't look at me, I do a 40 mins jogging every second day)
