  • Angels and Demons

Saw it, a little different than the book, but entertaining.

    Ewan Macgregor was pretty good.

Going to see it, I thought the book was pretty good. What do you think about the whole pope condemning the movie&book?

Although I am not catholic I see where the pope is coming from. The part where he has one of the cardinals actually asking where is God to save him. He actually made the cardinal question his religion where you'd expect him to cling to it the most. When I read it, I was really in shock, so I have some understanding for people who don't like Dan Brown

Umm, the books and the movies are entertainment, little 'fact' is thrown into them. Some of it is intriguing, but that's as far as you should go.

Since T4 is off my list thanks to the internet, this weekend is going to be Angels and Demons.

When i read the book a few years ago, it brought up questions about religion. I read the Davinci code right after. So that was part of it too. Time passed and i forgot about those questions. So meh.

I watched the movies and read the books for entertainment as PaulO said.

da vinci code was better than angels and demons, imo. At least the book anyways.

How do you even come up with this bs?

I read the Da Vinci code like 7 years ago or whenever it was that it came out and made a big fuss. Good book, but I never got around to reading Angels and Demons.

If I haven't read the book will I get lost if I go to the movie? Is it set before or after Da Vinci Code?
My father in law was telling me over Thanksgiving about this amazing bartender at some bar he frequented who could shake a martini and fill it to the rim with no leftovers and he thought it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen. I then proceeded to his home bar and made four martinis in one shaker with unfamiliar glassware and a non standard shaker and did the same thing. From that moment forward I knew he had no compunction about my cock ever being in his daughter's mouth.

but... once again, cgi footage of vatican clergymen on fire... awesome. hail satan.

I read it recently so that I could see the movie having read the book first, and it was decent. However, there were 3 distinct scenes that all happened to have been on Mythbusters already and proved impossible. Made me chuckle.

Angels and Demons the movie was crap. They left out a main character. Davinci coder the movie was alot better then Angels And Demons the movie IMO. As far as the books ide put Deception Point infornt of both of these two books. If you have not read Deception Point go for it its a really good read.
